Glad to see the comeback of our favorite Chinese restaurant in Sugar Land. The service was warm and friendly and the food is even better now than before. We were savoring the Lunch specials which are very reasonably priced. Great reccs are Spicy tangy chicken and the soups. Only downside was no desserts and the atmosphere is not as warm as before. Could use warmer lighting and decorations.
Definitely different recipes from the original Panda Garden. everything I ordered was very good. For sure the best delivery option we have in the area. I will be ordering from them again
Update 4/20/25: THEY ARE OPEN NOW, and they are open on Sundays!Well, after eating here on 4/20/25, it's the same as what Jerry wrote. We were excited they reopened, but the quality of food was a disappointment. I got beef & broccoli, and their beef felt like sponge and egg drop soup wasn't like it used to be. The service was excellent, but I hope they get it right with bringing back that original taste of their food or bringing back the original cook. Update: 5/26/24 - We are sad this place is shut down. It seems like it's shut down for good after the fire. Their voice recording stated they would be shut down for a couple of months, but it's been over two months. Are there any updates on this place? We hope they will come back or move to a different location. Owners, please update us. Thanks! The food was delicious. Lemon chicken, Mmmm, especially the sauce. Beef & broccoli very good. Most places I have been to, their beef was spongy. Not this place. The beef was cooked just right. We are coming back to this place.
This was the fourth time my wife and I tried Panda Garden since they reopened several months ago. The first two visits were not very good. In fact, the food was no way close to the original Panda Garden. On our third visit, it appeared they made some adjustments. Keeping it simple, we ordered the General Tso's. The chicken, without a doubt, was some of the most tender pieces we ever had a Chinese restaurant. Our fourth visit was today. We ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken. Once again, the chicken was very very tender. A side plate of steam veggies was equally good. The steamed veggies came with a very tasty garlic sauce on the side. We used it on the veggies as well as the chicken. Very good. When we were paying our bill we talked to a lady at the register. She said they did make some changes. We certainly can tell. For us, Panda Garden will be our go to for Chinese.
Was visiting a client who wanted to eat at the Panda Garden for lunch. Simple Chinese food place that was almost full for lunch. Enjoyed hot green tea with egg drop soup, spring roll and spicy chicken with steamed rice. Good service also.
Panda Garden is back, they are on point! Everything is delicious, tender chicken, crispy spring roll, and perfectly seasoned! A 10 all together. So happy my favorite restaurant is back in full force. Here is to another successful 25 years.
Don't believe everything you read. This was my 1st time here and I was Extremely pleased w/everything. I ordered the Beef fried rice ( a little light on the beef) and it was delicious. The Chicken w/vegetables made up for the lack of Beef. Prices were normal - cost of doing business people. I drive semi-truck and it's nice to get a dinner like this occasionally. Yes, I will be back and I do recommend them.
Food is tasty, plentiful, and inexpensive for the amount given. I purchased chow mein, string bean chicken and honey walnut shrimp
